Jake Hawes
Director of Hawes Property Developments
A value-driven property developer with a strong foundation in construction, having worked hands-on for eight years as a carpenter and foreman before transitioning into full-time development.
His entrepreneurial passions led him to study finance, property and business with aspirations to one day run his own development company. His deep understanding of both site-level execution and the broader development process allows him to identify opportunities others miss, while driving projects with precision, passion, and commercial awareness.
He leads the acquisitions, stakeholder engagement and strategic direction for the business.
Sarra Hawes
Company Director of Hawes Construction Group
Brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, having started her career as a Management Trainee and progressing through site engineering and management roles.
In 2013, she co- founded Hawes Construction Group, where she now leads financial oversight, business development, staff training, and contract coordination.
With formal qualifications including an HNC in Building Studies and NVQ7 in Senior Construction Management, Sarra’s deep operational knowledge and leadership underpin the company’s strong track record in delivering quality projects across the South East.
Bruce Hawes
Managing Director of Hawes Construction Group
A highly experienced and driven Managing Director with a hands-on background in construction, from starting as a bricklayer to senior management roles across the industry.
With a track record that spans roles at Balfour Beatty, Protech Construction, and Walter Llewellyn & Sons, Bruce brings strategic oversight, operational excellence, and a relentless focus on quality to every project.
His leadership at Hawes Construction Group is built on decades of industry knowledge, strong problem-solving ability, and a clear mission: to be the best at what we do.
